This policy explains how Steadyair Heating & Cooling ("Steadyair", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information through steadyair.net.
Information we collect
When you send a service request, we collect:
- your first and last name;
- your mobile number and email address;
- the service address;
- what you tell us about your system and the work you need, including any notes;
- a record of your choice about calls and texts, including the consent wording shown to you, the date and time, and the page you used.
When you send a request, we also collect page and device information, such as your IP address, approximate location based on that address, browser and device type, and the page that referred you.
How we use information
- to respond to your request, schedule a visit and give you repair or replacement options;
- to contact you by call, text or email, as you allowed;
- to keep records of consent and opt-out requests;
- to operate, secure and improve the site;
- to comply with the law.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site, send messages and carry out the work you request, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Mobile information, text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Calls and texts
If you agree on our request form, we call and text you about your request. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. See our Texting terms.
How long we keep information
We keep request and consent records for as long as we need them to respond to your request, provide service and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete them or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email support@steadyair.net. We may keep a record of an opt-out or consent where the law requires us to.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email support@steadyair.net and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
